Join us on Wednesdays
at noon to enjoy a time of teaching and fellowship with other men.
HUDDLE is now in it's eighth year of serving the men of Kokomo and
Howard County with teaching from the Word of God. It is a
time of spiritual refreshment right in the middle of your
week. Won't you take the time to join us?

HUDDLE
Announces a Special Guest Speaker for April 18,2012
Special things happen
every week at HUDDLE, and this week is no exception! We are
privileged to have football All-Star Anthony Thompson as our
speaker this week!
Thompson
played college football with the Indiana University Hoosiers
football program where he
won the Maxwell Award and Walter Camp Award in 1989. He also won
the Chicago Tribune Silver Football twice, becoming one of only
three people to do so. He finished second in Heisman Trophy voting
for the 1989 season. In 1989 he broke the record for career
touchdowns in college with 65 touchdowns. The record stood until
1998 when it was broken by Ricky Williams. Thompson finished his
college career with 5,299 rushing yards. Thompson was a three-year
starter (1983–1985) for Terre Haute North Vigo High School,
where he was a Parade All-American. On May 9, 2007 Thompson was
announced as one of the specially selected inductees of the 2007
class at the College Football Hall of Fame. The Indiana University
football
Most Valuable Player award is named the “Anthony Thompson
Award.” And the Big Ten presents an annual award called the
Dungy-Thompson Humanitarian Award. It is named for Minnesota's
Tony Dungy and Indiana's Anthony Thompson. The award recognizes
Big Ten football players that have achieved success in the areas
of humanitarianism and leadership after their college careers have
ended.
