Statement of Faith    Meeting Information

Join us on Wednesdays at noon to enjoy a time of teaching and fellowship with other men.  HUDDLE enters it's fifth year of serving the men of Kokomo and Howard County with teaching from the Word of God.  It is a time of spiritual refreshment right in the middle of your week.  Won't you take the time to join us?

Our Heart Breaks.  The Kingdom Gains a Warrior...

It is with selfish sadness but an eternal joy to announce that at approximately 1:30pm Tuesday, April 14, 2009, Jim Jacobs went home to be with the Lord. He had fought the good fight and it is impossible to comprehend the thrill he had when he entered the gates and finally heard those words he longed to hear, “Well done, my good and faithful servant! Now come and receive your crown of righteousness!”

Jim was loved by everybody that ever met him. His joyful, peaceful and engaging demeanor exemplified Christ more than anyone you’ll ever meet. He was more than just one of the founders of HUDDLE, he was the heart and soul of it. It is a understatement to say that he will deeply, deeply missed.

Jim’s wife, Carolyn, and their son and daughter-in-law, Josh and Sarah, are truly grateful for all your prayers. They have seen God work through this and their faith is strong. But please continue to lift them up as they learn to live life differently. From the very beginning, Jim was adamant about telling people not to pray for a heart, but for healing. Though he appreciated the prayers for himself, he wanted his family and the donor’s family covered in prayer. Well, Jim’s prayer is answered. He is perfectly healed now. And we miss him terribly.

As much as it hurts to not have him with us any longer, it’s exciting to think about what he experienced yesterday afternoon. He got to live out the Mercy Me song that we only get to sing, I Can Only Imagine:

Surrounded by Your glory, what will my heart feel
Will I dance for you Jesus or in awe of you be still
Will I stand in your presence or to my knees will I fall
Will I sing hallelujah, will I be able to speak at all
I can only imagine
